Another ABC Texas Basset Brigade!

This beautiful lady is 10 yr old Holly, getting Ready for a New Life in NY
On June 9, ABC Basset Hound Rescue was notified about 6 Basset Hounds at the Humane Society of Cedar Creek in Tool, Texas.  Four of them were found running loose and the other 2 were then turned over to the police department.  These were obvious breeding dogs and all were infested with fleas.   They range in age from 1-6 years old.   Two are reportedly heartworm positive.  Thank goodness this Mom has had her last litter and will make some lucky family a loving companion.  You can view the rest of the Texas Bassets on the TX Basset Brigade FB page here.

ABC Basset Hound Rescue committed to helping these guys as they did with the 6 Texas bassets that were transported to NY in January!  On June 14th, two ABC volunteers will be taking the ABC van down to Maryville, TN where they will meet up with the transporters bringing the bassets North!  The transport will arrive on June 15th in NY where they will meet their new foster families and will finally be shown the love they deserve!

ABCBHR expects to spend approximately $4,000 on these bassets for spay/neuters, vaccinations, heartworm treatment and travel expenses to get them to New York.

Would you please consider donating to their new lives in NY?  ABC has set up a FirstGiving page to accept donations for this extraordinary rescue.  Make your secure donation here.

TRANSPORT to NY has been filled - thanks so much to Laura Johnson and all the volunteers that are driving these beautiful Bassets all the way to NY.  We will followup with pictures and status updates as they make the long journey North.

These Bassets appreciate all your help and support to start their new lives as members of loving families!
